School uniform is smart, functional and competitively
priced. All children are asked to wear school uniform.
The design of the School Badge is based on the
Anglo Saxon derivation of the name Roseacre. This is believed to have
originated from the two words HROS and AECER meaning a rook and a cultivated
piece of land. By the year 1258, the earliest recorded form had combined
the two words to create the name rokesakre. Accordingly, our badge depicts
two rooks dominating the furrows of cultivated land as indicated by the
chevrons. The cross at the base of the shield serves a reminder that the
school developed from a Church Foundation.

P.E. Kit
Short-sleeved plain white polo shirt*, plain
navy shorts, plain, black plimsolls (trainers for Years 5 & 6 for
PE outdoors), a football kit may be required for football club, girls
may wear a netball skirt for netball club
Tracksuits may be worn for outdoor games in
the Winter.

Footwear:-
Shoes should be: black, brown, navy
or grey. No suede shoes, trainers, boots, high-heeled, open toed or sling-back
shoes are to be worn for health and safety reasons.
Other Items
Navy/dark coloured outdoor coaat, navy blazer (optional - badge available from
school).
Painting overall
Hair to be tied back with plain navy/brown/white bands
No jewellery to be worn
other that one pair of small studs by children with pierced ears. and/or a functional
watch. Earrings must be removed for P.E./Games/Swimming. School takes no responsibility
for any jewellery worn to school.
Nail varnish ormake-up may not be worn to school.
Coats:-
Children should wear a functional outdoor coat, in a plain colour,
preferably navy. Denim, suede, leather and fur coats are not suitable for school
use. A kagoule may be kept in their school bag for summer use. Navy blue school
blazers may be worn. Badges are available from school.
A shoe bag for P.E. and a painting overall are both
required
